September 26, 2021: "We thank God today for his many graces and blessings during these past fifty years. We ask his continued blessings upon all your benefactors, faculty, and staff, all the students and families down through the years, and every one who has helped to build up this fine school."

We notice in our Gospel passage, that Jesus finds St. Matthew while he is at work; he is sitting at the customs post, collecting the taxes. The Gospel tells us: 'He said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him.'"

September 13, 2021: "California lawmakers have passed legislation to replace a statue of St. Junípero Serra at the Capitol in Sacramento with a new monument honoring the state’s native peoples. The Serra statue has been in storage since it was torn down by protesters in July 2020."
